okay, katie, you tagged me.

Rules of the game: Post 5 WEIRD and RANDOM facts about yourself, then at the end of the list the names of 5 people who are next in line to do this. Also leave a comment on their blog/xanga to let them know.

1) i can cross one eye, balance nearly anything on top of my head, tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue, and fit my fist in my mouth.* yes, i'm a catch.

2) i've had 4 or 5 people tell me i look like neve campbell. what? i think it's just the slaughenhoupt jaw.

3) i have an unnatural fear of ridiculous things like: statues. clowns. animatronics. zombies. these things might not be TOO weird if it weren't for the fact that i'm terrified of those things, but not of "normal scary things," like walking through a cemetary alone at night (which i just did on my way to the computer lab).

4) my family has a habit of laughing anytime we're not supposed to...like anytime we're moving furniture. as soon as me, my mom, my dad, or my brother picks up half of the couch, one of us starts laughing because we know we CAN'T. unfortunately, when i was little, this would often lead to me peeing my pants. for instance...once when we came home from church and were locked out of the house...so my dad and brother lifted me up to climb through the window. as soon as they picked me up, we all started laughing, which led to me peeing, hanging half in and half out of the window, with my dad and brother below me. (another time of inappropriate laughter = when my mom fell down the steps and broke her ankle...dad and i couldn't stop).

5) once, my brother shot me in the face with a dart gun. i was walking down our driveway, and he jumped out from behind our row of trees and shot an dart pistol, thinking it would only go a few feet. instead, it made it to me at the end of the drive, about an inch from my eye. the best part of this story...this wasn't when we were little, it was before my high school graduation party. i was 18, and he was 25.

*disclaimer: i have not attempted this in at least a year or two, so i'm not absolutely positive i'm still able to do it. i'm sure i'll attempt it as soon as i leave the lab, though, now that i've thought about it.
